Infants

At World Class Academy, your baby will spend their first year learning through nurturing play. Our credentialed, experienced teachers will guide your little one through their first year at our center with enthusiasm, empathy, and compassion. Everything we do is done with the end goal of motivating your child to love the learning process while instilling strong Christian values.

The WCA Infant program recognizes that babies march to the beat of their own drum, so we believe the best teaching method for them would be to tailor to their specific, individual needs. We encourage open communication to let us know how best to approach the unique needs of your baby. Please let us know what is most important for you as the parent or guardian.

World Class Academy utilizes the Creative Curriculum. The educational approach for the Infant Program is to provide nurturing relationships which will positively influence a baby’s development and learning. While children are in infancy, it is important to start introducing colors, sounds, nature, language, and music to form a solid foundation for them before moving into the next stage of learning. Our job is to help guide them in the right direction to acquire the necessary first milestones on their educational journey.

In the classroom, our babies are able to move about the spacious room to explore and socialize with the safety of constant supervision from our caregivers. Babies that are not yet mobile are periodically moved by our staff to different interest areas in the room. We have a corral, bouncers, various toys (soft, musical, sensory), books, swings, and soft climbers available for your baby to enjoy. We also have bottle warmers and refrigeration available. Our cribs have acrylic ends to provide continuous visibility and opportunity for interaction facilitated by our teachers. From 12:00-2:00 PM every day we will turn the lights off to allow for a quiet, tranquil time so that your baby has the chance to rest.
