World Class Academy employs a Creative Curriculum for our Twos Program where your child will learn through play. Our credentialed, experienced, and loving teachers want to help your child on their path to success. Everything we do is done with the end goal of motivating them to love the learning process while instilling strong Christian values.

The foundation for learning in the World Class Academy Twos program is to focus on building language and math skills. We help children discover mathematical relationships such as sorting, classifying, number concepts, patterns, and spatial relationships. We encourage our two-year-olds to explore science as if they were little scientists themselves in the physical, social, and natural world.

In the Twos Program, your child will experience a year filled with fun, exciting, hands-on activities that will open their world of learning. They will be able to spend time at each learning center throughout the day and have access to all the learning materials available there. The learning centers include Homeliving, Science & Math, Library & Literacy, Music, Art, Blocks, and Transportation. We will facilitate small learning groups to encourage your child to explore all the areas of the classroom with their friends. Within the small groups, your child will have fun playing and sharing with their peers with the help of our teachers using positive guidance strategies. We will also help with important self help skills like potty training and feeding themselves.

Our Twos classrooms give the children access to a range of materials to learn and play with. There are blocks for stacking and building, books to help develop early literacy skills, various art mediums for expressing creativity, sensory play materials to expand on fine motor skills, and a kitchen for dramatic play.

Here’s an example of a daily schedule for our Twos Program:

• Breakfast with social time
• Manipulative time
• Circle time with pledge, prayers, and good morning song at 9:00 AM
• Small group learning centers
• Outdoor play and exploration
• Diapering and handwashing
• Lunch
• Nap/quiet time
• Snack
• Afternoon devoted to reinforcing what was learned in the morning
• Another outdoor play and exploration time

We host weekly small group swim lessons and bi-weekly Happy Feet Soccer & Amazing Athletes.
